With a focus of 16 and over, Luella utilises Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Mindfulness Based Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Social Skills Training approaches.
Special interests include health psychology, the role of sleep, diet and exercise in psychology, sport and performance psychology, working with high performance occupations, and creativity.
Her honours thesis focused on using community led creative art programs to heal from disaster related trauma. Outside of psychology, Luella is a singer songwriter and studies music performance. She enjoys yoga, hiking, podcasts, books, health and fitness, and spending time with her dog and loved ones.
