Georgia is a psychologist, registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a Family Therapist completing a Masters of Family and Systemic Therapy through the Williamsroad Family Therapy Centre in Melbourne. Georgia’s background includes working in AOD and gambling treatment, school psychology, disability and in private practice. She works with individuals and families across the lifespan using a systemic and relational frame that supports families to function at their healthiest level, in accordance with what’s important to them. She believes in a no wrong door approach and will work alongside you to identify your needs.
Georgia is trained in CBT/REBT, Motivational Interviewing (MI), Resource Therapy (RT) and several other modalities that aim to promote, sustain, and enhance functioning and psychological health of clients. In sessions Georgia uses a strengths and creative arts approach and uses objects, movement, and crafts in her sessions. Georgia has experience in providing support to individuals and families from diverse ethic, system and social backgrounds both in the Northern Territory and in New South Wales.
