Amanda believes that everyone has a life worth living, but recognises that not everyone experiences life as worth living. She is passionate about helping clients identify what matters most to them and move towards a life that feels meaningful, authentic, and aligned with their values.
Amanda takes a culturally informed, person-centred, collaborative, and strengths-based approach to therapy. Grounded in empowerment, acceptance, and hope, she believes therapy works best when it is guided by clear, meaningful goals. She works alongside clients to identify what they want from therapy, build on their existing strengths, and develop practical strategies to create lasting change.
Amanda’s focus is with clients aged 16+ across the lifespan, including those from neurodiverse, gender-diverse, immigrant, and culturally diverse backgrounds.

- Domestic and family violence, coercive control, and relational trauma
- Institutional abuse and trauma
- Parenting support, including adolescence, step-parenting, co-parenting, adoption, foster parenting, and early parenthood
- Women’s health and wellbeing across life stages
- Major life transitions and adjustment difficulties
- Anxiety, depression, stress, and burnout
- Perfectionism and performance anxiety
- Workplace psychological injury

Amanda is a registered Psychologist who completed her Master of Professional Psychology with Distinction from the University of Newcastle. Outside of psychology, she has trained extensively in self-defence, music performance, and mentorship but now spends much of her time engaging in a balanced life of health and fitness, music, travel, and spending time with loved ones.
