Alix is a generally registered psychologist, who completed her Bachelor of Psychology with honours at the University of New England. Drawn to the field of mental health as she is passionate about supporting others through some of life’s challenges. Alix aims to provide a non-judgemental, confidential, and warm space to explore these challenges together and work towards positive change for the future.

Alix has experience working across the lifespan and working with a broad range of presenting issues. Including challenging behaviour, parenting difficulties, anxiety, depression, loss, neurocognitive and neurodevelopmental conditions. Alix has a particular interest in working with children, adolescents, and their families. Alix enjoys taking a person-centred approach, utilising an individual’s strengths to work collaboratively towards wellbeing goals. Alix draws on evidence-based practices including cognitive behavioural therapy, motivational interviewing, solution focused therapy, dialectical behavioural therapy, and acceptance commitment therapy.

When not working with clients to make sense of their experiences, you’ll find her supporting her own mental health through going to the beach, playing netball or photography.
