Psychologist

Tanya is a registered Psychologist who completed her Masters of Professional Psychology at the University of Newcastle.

Tanya takes a compassionate, person-centred approach, seeking to understand your unique story and working alongside you to navigate challenges and work towards your therapeutic goals. Her practice is grounded in a belief that change is always possible, and that with the right tools and support, individuals can navigate transitions, build resilience, and thrive. She draws on a range of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Schema Therapy, and Mindfulness techniques, to support clients.

Tanya has a particular interest in women’s wellbeing during perimenopause and menopause, adult and youth mental health, and performance psychology for elite and high-performing athletes.

Outside of work, Tanya enjoys keeping fit and spending time with family and friends.  She volunteers in community sport and has a love of the ocean, being outdoors and reading.
