He works from the view that an equal partnership is the heart of quality support, and will seek to explore your experiences, goals and personal capacity.
Dominic draws upon modalities that including DBT, CBT, Schema Therapy, Brief Therapy, Single Session Therapy, Mindfulness and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. These are relevant to his background supporting people managing low mood and mood instability, anxiety, perinatal concerns, grief and loss, chronic illness and disability, as well as the impacts of trauma. He works with clients 16 and over.
Dominic has lived experience of his own engagement in counselling supports. He has a special interest in supporting people who may have found accessing care challenging, including other health professionals, those with chronic illness and or disability, and those from communities including First Nation Australians, LGBTQI+, CALD and refugee backgrounds. Dominic is an AHPRA registered Supervisor.
