Perinatal & reproductive mental health

  • Fertility and reproductive health concerns – emotional support through fertility challenges, decision making, and the stress that comes with medical pathways and uncertainty.
  • Birth preparation – psychological preparation for labour and birth, building confidence, realistic expectations, and practical coping strategies.
  • Birth trauma & premature birth – trauma-informed therapy for people who experienced frightening or unexpected births, including ongoing distress after preterm delivery.
  • Miscarriage and perinatal loss – sensitive, compassionate care to process grief, identity changes and complicated emotions after loss.
  • Mood disorders in the peri- and postpartum period – assessment and treatment for postpartum depression, anxiety, OCD, and related conditions; collaborative care with your GP or obstetric team when needed.
  • Distress relating to pregnancy symptoms – help coping with bodily changes, health worries, nausea, fatigue, and uncertainty so you can better manage day-to-day life.
  • Father & non-birthing partner distress and adjustment – support for partners coping with the transition to parenthood, secondary trauma, or relationship shifts.

 

Parenting & early relationships

  • Parent–infant bonding and attachment – interventions and guidance to strengthen connection, soothe distress, and support secure attachment in early months and years.
  • Parenting support – practical, non-judgemental coaching and therapy for parenting challenges, including behaviour management, sleep disruption, and balancing work and family.
  • Adjustment issues – help managing role changes, identity shifts, and relationship adjustments that come with parenthood and family life.

 

Mood, anxiety & trauma

  • Anxiety and depression – evidence-based therapies (CBT, ACT, EMDR where appropriate) for generalized anxiety, panic, low mood, and related difficulties across the lifespan.
  • Trauma recovery – trauma-informed care for historical or recent events, including birth-related trauma and relationship violence.

Perimenopause and menopause

  • Managing mood and wellbeing by addressing anxiety, low mood, irritability, and emotional changes related to hormonal shifts
  • Adjusting to change including exploring changes in identity, body image, self-confidence, and life direction.
  • Strengthening relationships and supporting communication, intimacy, and connection with partners, family, and friends.
  • Building resilience though developing strategies to manage stress, improve sleep, and embrace this stage as an opportunity for growth and renewal.
