Eating Disorder Support & Recovery

Specialised therapy for eating and body-image concerns

We offer evidence-based, compassionate care for individuals experiencing eating disorders and disordered eating. Our psychologists are experienced in supporting people with:

  • Anorexia Nervosa and other restrictive eating patterns
  • Bulimia Nervosa
  • Binge Eating Disorder (BED)
  • Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID)
  • Other Specified Feeding or Eating Disorders (OSFED)

We recognise that every experience with food and body is unique. Therapy focuses on rebuilding a healthy, sustainable relationship with food and body, supporting both physical and emotional recovery.

How treatment works

If you’ve been diagnosed with or are concerned about an eating disorder, you can see your GP for an Eating Disorder Plan (EDP) under the Better Access Initiative. This provides access to up to 40 rebated sessions with a psychologist and dietitian each calendar year.
Your psychologist will collaborate with your GP and other members of your care team (such as your dietitian, psychiatrist, or medical specialist) to ensure you receive coordinated and holistic support.
Our aim is to support you in rediscovering balance, freedom, and connection to self, by not just managing symptoms, but fostering long-term wellbeing.

Referral pathways

We accept clients under a range of referral pathways and funding options, including:

  • Eating Disorder Plans (EDPs)
  • Mental Health Care Plans (MHCPs)
  • Private clients (self-referral)
  • NDIS (self- or plan-managed)
